The first Worlds Fair and Elran Shobi disappears.

Between the years of 1805 to 1810 the world of Faunus saw several major improvements to technology and culture. As the world began to connect itself through the use of rail lines and communications, many people took the new magic and technologies to try to make a new way into the world.

With trains now available, the transportation of goods between countries became the newest and most successful venture. Many trading companies began to spring up and make connections with the government protected railways. Or existing trading companies which had only handled goods through either caravan or ship, jumped at the newer and safer form of transport. Now without the concern of transporting perishable goods like fruits and meat over weeks of travel, Aquila's citizens, at least the ones that lived close to these lines, found themselves with a influx of new and interesting items, ores, foods and materials at far more reasonable prices. Specifically the trade between Aquila and Korvis prospered greatly. Allowing for more friendly and open travel between countries.

Talks began of creating an event to showcase the achievements, discoveries, technological and magical improvements of nations. And allow up-and-coming individuals to exhibit their creations and possibly gain funding to further the development and research. Being the current leader in technology, Aquila paid for and organized the first Advancement Exposition in 1808. This yearly event would go on to be a major attraction to whatever country held it and a glimpse into future advancements and discoveries of all kinds. One of the inventions presented at this early Advancement Exposition was a electrical and magic creation called the Telegraph. The invention ended up being a break out success as a ground breaking way to communicate through long distanced. Using a combinations of glyph stones and electrical charge, communication longer then 25 word message spells could be received at a telegraph station then delivered to the recipient by a postal worker. In the span of five years, almost every major city had a public telegraph station. With larger more wealthy cities having multiple stations for different zones of the city.

Inventions in this Timeframe Typewriter, Raincoat, Enchanted Cloth/clothing, padlocks (non-magical), tempest prognosticator, piano and telegraph.

Elran Shobi disappears.

In the June of 1805 Elaran Shobi, elected Warden of Lagowick, set off into the mountains surrounding Lagowick. His goal was to collect water and a specific type of wood that grew near the spring and the Feywild rift for his wife Aluana Shobi. When Elran did not return from his expedition within the expected time, his wife Aluana Shobi was left as the sole official left to run and protect the town.

Since the towns establishment in the mid 1700s the area right outside of the Living Wilds had long been documented as a fey hotspot. With at least one confirmed permeant rift located in the forest above Lagowick. Unlike its neighbors though Lagowick had managed to build itself on a specific piece of land that seemed to protect the from the fey. Containing extremely high amounts of iron, this micro-deserts red sand was proven to repel fey creatures. Making Lagowick the only town safe from fey in the area. However one outside of the town safety was not guaranteed. The town was unable to confirm if Elran was alive or dead. But the warden's disappearance spurred Aluana to develop better counter measures against the creatures in the area.

Strange Creature sightings in Korvis

Starting in 1800, occasionally reports of a strange unidentified creature would make their way from lesser inhabited areas of Korvis. Mainly around the Taskmanikus region. It wasn't until 1807 there was a confirmed sighting which identified the creature as possibly being a Deep Crow.

The report was made by a silk farming family. They reported that over the last two months they'd seen the Deep Crow multiple times in the area surrounding the farm. Almost as if it was stalking it. With is progressively getting closer and closer to residence. Eventually after weeks of the creature stalking the residence, it had decided to attack them and lead to them fleeing from the creature. Luckily with no causalities just some minor wounds. After this attack, with the consent of the recently appointed Levi Duskryl, the local authorities began an investigation into the sighting of the creature. It was theorized that the Deep Crow may have accidentally come through a rift as there was noted to be a permeant rift in a near by location which the creature could have traveled from. Leaving the creature stranded in Taskmanikus and Korvis as a whole. The first investigative group intended to herd the creature back towards the rift zone, however they only caught sight of the creature once and were unable to herd it in a direction.

Following this, several more search and adventuring parties were sent out to find the creature. But all would be unable to locate it. After this incident the sightings of the Deep Crow slowed with only a handful of progressively violent encounters until 1811 - 1816.
