Feywild
Feywild
The Feywild, also referred to as the Fey plane, is one of the seven Planes of Existence. Next to the Ethereal Plane, the Feywild is the closet to the material plane and often overlaps. It currently has the highest document number of active Rifts including the permanent rifts in Lagowick, [[]], [[]], and [[]].
Factions
As chaotic and unpredictable as the weather the creatures of the Feywild to outsiders seem to always be in a constant state of shifting rulers and alliances. While the Feywild has uncountable smaller groupings and independent denizens, the two largest and most notable are the Seelie and Unseelie courts. Both courts have control of large territories within the Feywild. Divided into the inner court and the outer court. While not all fey will reside within these courts, nearly all will have either a alliance or some intimate knowledge of the goings-on in a particular court.
Seelie Court
As documented by the [[]], fey aligned with the Seelie court tend towards being curious and 'playful' by fey terms. Denizens of the outer court when encountered are often neutral towards outsiders. While the inner circle of the court have rarely been encountered or documented. The current rulers of the Seelie court are Titania and Oberon.
Unseelie Court
Little is documented on the Unseelie Court. And a majority of what has been comes from the experiences of Alice Hybrasil. This court is only ruled over by The Queen of Air and Darkness. An invisible arch fey presence of immense power. Unlike the Seelie, the Unseelie have no outer court. Instead the Queen has Wyld Hunt, a highly skilled grouping of fey and arch fey that hunt on the Queens orders. Fey aligned with the Unseelie court are generally hostile to traveler or fey from the Seelie court. Any interactions with the Unseelie are handled with great care or avoided entirely.
Court of Stars
The Court of Stars is a recently document phenomenon. It seems to be a fracture off of the Seelie Court, the Court of Stars is seemingly a mix of former outer Seelie court fey and pioneers from the material plane. There is currently no ruling arch fey of this court. Further exploration is required.
Myconids
A recently discovered group, they were first spotted roughly seventy years ago. These tall upright walking creatures resemble fungus and come in many varying shapes and sizes. The creatures are highly intelligent but mostly peaceful. A unique temperament for creates making their home so close to the Unseelie court. However, the Myconids can be provoked if attacked or disturbing them uninvited. It was also been documented that individuals are seen dragging corpses back to the larger colony but unclear for what purpose.
