Korvis; the Empire of the Raven
The Korvis empire is located northward and above Aquila. While the empire is slightly larger in size to Aquila, the empire is an agricultural hub that focuses on supplying what most consider luxury items and products. Divided into four regions, Palmarome, Tipacus, Taskmanikus and Awesafrigis. Each region is ruled over by a elected council member that represents the people and land. This division is used both to keep trade organized and to protect the unique biomes responsible for the empires luxury goods. The most notable and sought after being silk from the Taskmanikus region of the empire.
Like the world at large, Korvis has a very diverse populace but a notably high concentration of Monster-blooded individuals. Korivs holds magic and nature very dear, rather then fully pursuing advancement, the empire has been slow and selective in what becomes a part of their society. This could be a reflection of both the larger culture of Korvis itself and a reflection of its government.
Government
The Korvis empire is run by an elected emperor and four seat elected council. The council itself is made up of four individuals which are meant to represent the main four regions. Each member upon being elected, the council member is in charge of their specific region and its well being. Responsible for not only providing to the empire as a whole, council members are also expected to keep the region economically and physically stable, caring for this occupants and finally managing trades. When a member of the council dies or retires, there is a short campaign from the region to elect who the communities feel to be the best or the most capable individual for the job.
Unlike the council members, emperors are expected to maintain their elected positions for their lives. When a emperor is chosen they take on the last name of Yatagara. A reference to the mythical three legged raven on the country's flag and all official documents.
The current Korvis Council is made up of, emperor Kabi Yatagara and their interpreter/translator Eskall Hizzu. Ghut 'Deadeye' councilor of the Palmarome region. Mei Sang councilor of the Tipacus region. Levi Duskryl councilor of Taskmanikus and finally Vultyn Luvenzath councilor of Awesafrigis.
